Tortilla Leves // Tortilla Soup

See ENGLISH below.

Lássuk is.

Hozzávalók:

  • 1 vöröshagyma, étolaj
  • 2 dl víz
  • szárított natúr fűszerkeverék, chilipehely
  • só, fokhagyma granulátum, kömény
  • 1 dl tejszín
  • 2 konzerv paradicsomkocka
  • 1 üveg paradicsomszósz
  • 2-3 ek konzerv kukorica

Vendégvárás esetén is tuti telitalálat szerintem.

ENGLISH:

The inspiration of this recipe comes from Amy Huntley, the author of the idearoom.net website. I made some modification to make it more simplier and faster, and here in Europe I could not find black bean, so instead of it I used red bean.

Ingredients:

  • sunflower oil, 1 onion
  • dried vegetable mix, chili powder
  • ½ cup hot water
  • salt, dried garlic powder, cumin
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 can red beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 can diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Bottled Tomatoes
  • 1 can corn
  • cheese
  • avocado
  • tortilla chips
Heat oil in a saucepan, and roast the onion. Add the hot water and the milk cream, season it with the dried vegetables and chili, and keep stirring it.
In a hand-held mixer’s bowl combine the drained and rinsed beans, and tomatoe sauce, and mix it thorougly.
Pour sauce and these bean-tomatoe mix into the soup, and add the diced tomatoes as well. Bring the salt, dried garlic powder and cumin into that. Boil it well, and done!
Top with cheese, corn, avocado, and tortilla chips and serve. Enjoy!
